Reobijn: 2K injection moulding
One of our specialties is a technique called 2K injection moulding, where we process
two different materials in a single injection moulding process into one end product.
This makes it possible to mould sealing parts or company logos, manufacture products
in various colour combinations, or to make multi-layered products.
Probably the most appealing product that we make using this 2K technique, is the cap of
the famous Grolsch swing-top bottle; previously of porcelain, now of plastic.
Moreover, the 2K moulding technique offers aesthetic advantages and greater freedom
in terms of product shape.
